What is Project Homeless Connect?
Project Homeless Connect began in San Francisco in 2004. Volunteers from the community gather on one day and in one place, in an effective and efficient way to provide health and human
services to the homeless.
Since 2004, Project Homeless Connect (PHC) has grown beyond San Francisco to include over 106 cities
nationwide.
Portland and Eugene were the first in Oregon to adapt the PHC model. They have been incredibly successful, reaching over 4,000
homeless people and bringing hundreds of volunteers together in a spirit of community and giving.
